The mission of the Department of Fire/Rescue Services is to provide effective response to situations that threaten the safety and health of our citizens due to fire, hazardous conditions, environmental emergencies, medical emergencies and similar events.  Our proactive role is to prevent fire and injuries through educational programs and the administration of applicable codes.
