Fire Stations



 
STATION 1    
(Rex/Laurel) Station 1 is located at 49 South Duke Street.  The present station was constructed in 1878

and is listed on the National Register Of Historic Places.  This is the oldest continuously operating fire station in the United States.  Station 1 is adjacent to the Fire Administration Building.  It is the quaters of Engines 1,3 and Truck A.



 
STATION 2    
(Vigilant) Station 2 is located at 273 West Market Street,  This station is our newest, constructed in 1974.  It is the home of Engines 2,4, Truck B, Service 45, and the Platoon Commanders.



 
STATION 5    
(Goodwill) Station 5 is located at 833 East Market Street.  This station dates from 1903.  Station 5 houses Engines 5 and 7.



 
STATION 9    
(Lincoln) Station 9 is located at 800 Roosevelt Avenue.  The station was constructed in 1946.  Station 9 houses Engine 9 and Service 45-1.
