THE SUMMER PLAYGROUND PROGRAM NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT!

PENNIES FOR PROGRAMS MAKE CENTS!

Donations Being Accepted for Summer Playground Program

The York City Parks and Recreation Department has launched Pennies for Programs, a fund-raising drive to raise money for the Summer Playground Program.  The goal is to raise $10,000, which will be used to run the summer playground program. The City’s Summer Playground Program serves children ages 6 to 12 at four parks throughout the City – Albemarle, Lincoln, Thackston and Memorial parks.

The City is seeking businesses and organizations that are interested in sponsoring the program or that are willing to have containers placed at their locations to raise funds for the program. If you would like to make a contribution, please contact Tom Landis or Sandie Walker.
